Quality Production Assemblies
Phoenix-Lamar has successfully manufactured a broad range of cable and harness complexities-from thousands of simple jumpers to a single 12-mile long control cable to support a bulk material conveyor system. Most of our cables and harnesses are intended for use in computers, instruments, and telecommunications products developed by leading OEMs. Typical assemblies include increasingly popular ribbon cables, as well as sophisticated hybrids. Regardless of our customer's specific needs, such as number of conductors, terminal style, or production quantity, we take personal pride in planning, performing and inspecting each manufacturing task to ensure the highest levels of quality each step of the way. After all, the Phoenix-Lamar reputation depends on our company wide dedication to quality.
Quality Control for the Best Products Possible
At Phoenix-Lamar, quality is planned-in, then built-in, and finally confirmed by 100% quality inspection of both prototype and production work. Our quality practices meet MIL-I-45208 (U.S. Department of Defense quality procedures for electronic/electrical wiring products) and guide the inspection processes and documentation of quality. We also separate our quality control and production departments to preserve their independence and objectivity in monitoring the quality of each assembly we produce. Detailed records are maintained to document inspection results according to manufactured lot, date and worked period, part number and cable/harness type.
